Are you from a care or support work background and ready to take your skills into a rewarding role in education?
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across schools in the Skelmersdale area. This role is particularly suited to individuals with hands-on experience in care settings who are confident providing personal care and supporting complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
*Support students with complex needs within the classroom environment
*Assist with personal care where required
*Promote independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
*Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning and development
Role Details
*Monday to Friday
*8:30am - 3:30pm
*Term time only
*£109 per day
About You
*Experience in care work, support work, or a similar setting
*Personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs (desirable)
*Comfortable providing personal care
*Patient, resilient, and adaptable
*Passionate about making a meaningful difference in children’s lives
