Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Employment & Skills Trainer to deliver engaging face-to-face and online training that supports individuals in developing employability, literacy, numeracy, motivation, and confidence. You will work closely with internal teams to help customers sustain tenancies and progress towards employment by providing tailored training and support aligned to local labour market needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver high-quality short courses both in-person and online across community locations
*Design and manage a programme of training aligned with local employment opportunities
*Conduct training needs analysis to inform course development
*Support colleagues with employment-related casework and customer progression
*Coordinate course delivery logistics with community teams and local hubs
*Carry out risk assessments and always ensure participant safety
*Maintain accurate records of attendance, engagement, and outcomes for reporting purposes
*Build relationships with local employers, training providers, and partner organisations
*Collaborate with regional and local partners to address social and economic challenges
About You
*Proven experience delivering employability, skills, or training programmes to diverse groups
*Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
*Good knowledge of employability pathways, local labour markets, or support services.
