Job Description:
Full job description KS2 Teacher
Chesterfield
September Start
A lovely primary school is searching for a KS2 Teacher who brings energy, creativity and a calm confidence into the classroom. Someone who can turn ordinary lessons into memorable moments and make children feel seen, supported and capable.
This isn’t a school looking for "just another teacher".
They’re looking for someone who genuinely loves helping children grow, both academically and personally.
Here’s what you can expect:
A supportive leadership team
Well-behaved, enthusiastic pupils
A collaborative staff culture
Opportunities to bring your own ideas into the classroom
Real work-life balance and ongoing support
The role would suit someone who:
• Has QTS and recent KS2 teaching experience
• Builds strong relationships naturally
• Brings creativity and positivity to lessons
• Understands how to support different learning styles
• Wants to be part of a team, not just fill a vacancy
Bonus points if you:
Have Thrive training
Have experience with SATs preparation
Love creative curriculum approaches
