Full job descriptionHGV Class 1 Driver - ShunterWolverhampton | £17 - £19 per hour | Ongoing | Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is urgently recruiting HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers for a busy trunking operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking regular work, competitive pay, and long-term opportunities within a modern logistics environment.
Start times are 07:00 daily, working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Key Duties:*Safely operate yard shunter vehicles.
*Carry out safe coupling and uncoupling of trailers.
*Monitor and report vehicle damage.
*Perform regular tyre checks.
*Ensure fridges are running correctly and electrical connections are secure.
*Maintain vehicle wash and refuelling areas.
*Collect and return vehicles for servicing when required.
*Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements:*Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) licence.
*Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
*Previous shunting experience preferred, although training can be provided.
*Strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.
*Ability to work independently and safely within a busy yard environment.
