*Contract Type: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Join our welcoming primary school as an SEN Teaching Assistant, where you will have the opportunity to support pupils with additional needs. This role is perfect for someone who is caring, dedicated, and ready to work closely with our teaching staff to provide tailored support for children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN.
*Assist in delivering personalised learning plans (EHCPs).
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
*Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to enhance the educational experience of our pupils.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience working with children or in SEN settings is desirable.
*Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to student interaction.
*Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with parents.
*Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 are desirable but not essential.
