Full job descriptionCompliance Assistant – Join a Growing Business Support Team
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Compliance Assistant to join a dynamic and expanding Business Support team within a professional services environment.
We’re looking for someone with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organisational abilities. You’ll be confident managing a busy workload, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage client onboarding and due diligence administration, including anomaly resolution and electronic screening checks.
*Ensure compliance with internal policies and risk management procedures.
*Monitor new clients and matters, following up on outstanding due diligence regularly.
*Support file reviews and compliance spot checks.
*Provide guidance to staff on compliance, regulation, and best practices.
*Assist with identifying training needs and supporting compliance training initiatives.
*Contribute to data breach management and reporting.
*Keep the Head of Compliance updated as required.
*Stay informed on the latest anti-money laundering and regulatory developments.
*Participate in professional development and internal meetings.
*Carry out additional tasks aligned with the role as needed.
Skills & Experience:
We’re seeking candidates with solid knowledge of AML regulations and KYC procedures. Experience in a law firm or similar regulated environment is highly desirable. You’ll be a team player who thrives under pressure, with a professional approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Strong IT skills and a client-focused mindset are essential. You should be prepared for the unique challenges of working in a compliance role within a legal or regulated setting.
