Our client, a prominent company in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, is seeking Overhead Linesmen to join their team on a contract basis in Cambridgeshire.
Key Responsibilities:*Working on UK Power Networks (UKPN) projects, specifically focusing on 11kv pole work
*Installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead power lines and associated equipment
*Conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards
*Identifying and addressing potential issues with overhead lines
*Collaborating effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently
*Ensuring all work is carried out to UKPN standards and LE1 UKPN ticket requirements
*Maintaining accurate records of work performed
Job Requirements:*Experience in overhead line work, particularly with 11kv poles
*LE1 UKPN ticket is mandatory
*Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the T&D industry
*Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time efficiently
*Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour tasks
*Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
