An Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic History Graduate to join their support team as a Trainee Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate considering a career in teaching, education, pastoral support, or youth work.
The Role*Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 History lessons
*Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support
*Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
*Helping students build confidence and engagement in humanities subjects
*Gaining valuable classroom experience before teacher training
The Ideal Candidate*A UK degree in History or a related subject
*Passionate about education and working with young people
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
*Considering a future career in teaching
