Our client, a PE-backed manufacturing and field service business based in Surrey, is looking for a driven graduate to join their small finance team in a hands-on Accounts Payable role. Reporting to an engaging Finance Manager, you’ll be given real responsibility from day one at a genuinely exciting moment in the company’s journey — this is a business going through significant change, and they want someone with the ambition and capability to grow with them.
You’ll quickly get to grips with the end-to-end AP process, taking ownership of tasks such as posting supplier invoices and credit notes, managing queries in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, reconciling supplier statements, and processing payment runs. You’ll also handle expense claims, credit card postings, and supplier onboarding, all while maintaining accurate records and keeping the AP mailbox well-managed. It’s a varied role that will give you broad exposure to finance operations from the outset.
No prior finance experience is required, but you’ll need to bring the right attitude — organised, proactive, and genuinely curious about how businesses work. Any exposure to Excel or accounting software is a bonus, and if you’re already studying or planning to study AAT, our client is keen to support you on that journey.
This is a permanent, fully on-site role based in Egham, Surrey, with a salary of £30,000–£32,000 — a strong package for a graduate-level finance position.
