Job Description:
Full job descriptionPertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail for a Fleet Administrator based in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused administrator to join a busy fleet operations team supporting one of the UK’s most recognised organisations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of fleet operations, vehicle compliance, servicing schedules, and driver records.
Location: Future Walk, Chesterfield S49
Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Pay Rate/Salary: £13.52
Type of Role: Temporary to Permanent
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver an administrative service that meets the agreed service levels.
*Data input to relevant systems/software e.g. Excel, Word, M5 etc.
*Data checking, verification and reconciliation.
*Data analysis.
*Maintain accurate and relevant records – including filing (electronic and hard copy).
*Extracting data for query resolution.
*Provision of general administrative support, including telephone call handling and processing customer requests.
*Resolve problems and issues effectively with a strong customer focus.
*Invoice production and query resolution.
*Working with suppliers to deliver against agreed delivery schedule.
*Checking, processing and payment of invoices.
*Maintain shared inbox contact at all required times.
About You
*Excellent IT Skills, computer literate – preferably with experience in a range of software packages including Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc
*Good standard of organisation skills
*Able to demonstrate good team working skills
*Confident communication skills including telephone call handling and e-mail/written correspondence.
*Good standard of numeracy.
*Open and comfortable with change, new processes and new ways of working.
*Experience in Fleet, especially working knowledge of fleet compliance and legalisation.
