My client is a well-established, globally backed business with over 60 years’ history and 20+ years in the UK. Operating within the renewable energy sector, they’ve built a strong reputation for quality, stability, and looking after their people, with a close-knit team and low staff turnover.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking to add a Service Engineer or Senior Service Engineer depending on experience.
The Role
This is a hands-on, UK-wide role (Monday to Friday) where you’ll be regularly working away from home, leading installation and commissioning activities across projects.
A great opportunity for someone looking to step into a more senior, autonomous position.
What you’ll be doing:
*Leading installation and commissioning activities on projects
*Acting as the technical lead and key customer contact on-site
*Taking ownership of planning (RAMS, delivery, coordination)
*Making on-the-spot technical decisions and resolving issues
*Supporting service and maintenance delivery
*Maintaining strong customer relationships
*Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
What They’re Looking For
*Strong background in installation and/or service
*Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
*Experience with testing and commissioning
*Mechanically biased with solid electrical understanding
*Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
Qualifications:
*ECS Gold Card (preferred)
*18th Edition
*Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical preferred
Other:
*Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
Package
*£37,000 – £47,000 depending on experience/level
*Monthly bonus up to 10%
*Overtime (time and a half up to double time)
*24 days holiday + bank holidays
