Salary £53,000 Per Annum
Bolton
gap technical are representing an established food manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to join their facility in Bolton.
Performance Objectives
*Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
*Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately within required timescales.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the Engineering department.
*Help achieve Engineering KPIs and operational targets.
*Participate in both planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
*Assist with the development and full utilisation of the CMMS system.
*Mentor and support fellow team members where required.
*Build and maintain strong working relationships with Production and other support departments.
*Ensure compliance with all company procedures, Health & Safety regulations, and Food Hygiene standards.
*Maintain plant and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
*Identify and implement productivity and labour-saving improvements alongside production teams.
*Provide technical engineering support and training to Line Technicians.
Person Specification
*Strong engineering knowledge gained within an FMCG maintenance environment.
*Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload effectively and demonstrate high performance standards.
*Multi-skilled engineer with ONC / NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Maintenance Engineering.
*Good communication and IT skills.
