Veritas Education are proud to be working exclusively with a supportive and high-achieving primary school in Blackburn, seeking an experienced and motivated Year 6 Class Teacherwith TLR position starting September 2026.
The OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced primary practitioner to lead a Year 6 class, delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum and supporting pupils’ transition to secondary school.

The Ideal Candidate:*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.

*Strong understanding of KS2 SATs preparation and strategies to support pupil progress.

*Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills.

*Not suitable for ECTs due to the nature of the role.



This role is offered on the Main and Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS), reflecting the school’s commitment to rewarding experienced teachers.
