Job Description:
Full job descriptionGoogle Paid Advertising Executive
Location: Swindon
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
REED Marketing & Creative are partnering with a fast-growing furniture brand with five UK store locations and a rapidly expanding online presence. Google Paid Search is one of their most important performance channels, driving significant revenue and acting as a key lever for growth.
As part of continued investment in digital capability, they are now hiring a Google Paid Advertising Executive to support the ongoing optimisation and performance of Google Search and Shopping activity. This role sits within the Digital Growth team and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced stakeholders while building deep, hands-on expertise in performance marketing.
This is a highly analytical, data-led role suited to someone who enjoys working with numbers, spotting patterns, and testing hypotheses. You will support day-to-day campaign performance, turning data into insight and insight into action, helping to drive measurable commercial outcomes.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners, ensuring campaigns are aligned to trading priorities and continuously improving.
If you are naturally curious, detail-oriented, and excited by the idea of using data to influence real business performance, this is an excellent opportunity to build a career in performance marketing.
Responsibilities:
*Supporting the daily performance of Google Paid Search & Shopping campaigns, with a focus on revenue, ROAS, CTR and conversion rate
*Analysing campaign data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimisation
*Assisting with budget pacing and bid adjustments in line with performance and demand
*Designing and executing A/B tests across ad copy, bidding strategies and landing pages
*Translating complex performance data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
*Monitoring competitor activity, search trends and audience behaviour to identify growth opportunities
*Building and maintaining reports and dashboards to track performance and inform decision-making
*Working closely with agency partners, reviewing output and ensuring alignment with business goals
*Developing an understanding of the product range, promotions and trading calendar to provide commercial context
*Keeping up to date with Google Ads developments and applying learnings to campaign performance
Skills & Experience:
*Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with data and metrics
*High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach
*Naturally inquisitive, with a desire to test, learn and improve performance
*Ability to identify patterns, trends and insights from data
*Clear communication skills, particularly when presenting insights or recommendations
*Interest in performance marketing, PPC or digital advertising
*Previous experience or exposure to Google Ads or similar platforms is beneficial but not essential
*E-commerce or commercial awareness is advantageous
