Hours: Monday to Friday, Part-Time (20 Hours Per Week)
Pay: £15+ per hour
Academics are currently recruiting for a Part-Time School Site Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced School Site Assistant seeking a long-term position within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:*Opening, locking, and securing the school site
*Carrying out general site assistant duties, including basic maintenance and minor repairs
*Completing routine health & safety checks and site inspections
*Preparing rooms and facilities for school events and activities
*Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained at all times
*Supporting staff with day-to-day site and facilities tasks
*Liaising with contractors and visitors where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*Previous experience as a School Site Assistant, Caretaker, Facilities Operative, or within a similar role
*A practical, proactive, and reliable approach to work
*Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
*The ability to work independently and use initiative
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
