Astute Recruitment are supporting our Mansfield-based client with the recruitment of an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy and fast-paced finance team on a permanent, full-time basis.


This is a fully office-based role offering a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a lively environment, thrives under pressure and is confident managing high-volume credit control duties from start to finish.


Key Duties:


*Managing the full credit control process for a high-volume customer ledger
*Chasing overdue payments via phone and email
*Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
*Resolving invoice and account queries efficiently
*Allocating customer payments and reconciling accounts
*Producing aged debtor reports
*Monitoring debtor days and reducing outstanding debt
*Escalating problematic accounts where necessary
*Supporting month-end processes and reporting
*Working closely with internal departments to resolve payment issues
*Maintaining accurate customer and account records


What We Are Looking For:


*Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Credit Control role
*Confident managing a busy and high-volume ledger
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
*Proactive and resilient approach
*Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
*Strong team player with a positive attitude
