Full job descriptionBehaviour Mentor - Lewisham - PRU / Alternative Provision - £100-£120 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start
*Behaviour Mentor - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour required
*Behaviour Mentor - Experience working in a PRU, school or alternative provision desirable
*Behaviour Mentor - Must be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
*Behaviour Mentor - Required full time ASAP
Have you previously worked as a Behaviour Mentor?
Do you have strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills?
Are you able to build positive relationships with pupils who may be disengaged from education?
If yes, then this Behaviour Mentor role is for you!!!
The Role - Behaviour Mentor
Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 11-16 within a specialist setting. You will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils manage behaviour, regulate emotions and re-engage with learning. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a structured and consistent environment.
The School - Behaviour Mentor
This specialist provision is located in the London Borough of Lewisham and is within walking distance of a nearby London Overground station. The school supports pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural barriers to learning, offering personalised learning, strong pastoral support and clear behaviour systems. The school was judged ’Good’ at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
