Full job descriptionSEN Tutor NeededWe are looking for a passionate, patient, and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 academic support for a student in Herne Bay. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on helping learners build confidence, achieve progress, and enjoy learning in a supportive environment.
Location: Herne BayAs an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with a student on a 1:1 basis, tailoring sessions to meet their individual educational needs and learning style. You will provide engaging academic support while creating a positive and encouraging learning experience.What You’ll Be Doing*Deliver personalised lessons in line with the student’s academic goals
*Adapt teaching methods to support additional learning needs
*Build confidence, motivation, and independent learning skills
*Create engaging and structured sessions
*Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
*Develop a strong, trusting relationship with the student
Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:
*Experienced in working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
*Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
*Confident delivering core academic subjects
*Creative in their teaching approach
*Reliable, professional, and passionate about education
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or tutoring experience is desirable but not essential
