You’ll handle a broad and interesting caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion, while working in an environment that combines professional standards with a friendly team culture.
What you’ll be doing
*Running your own residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish
*Dealing with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages and new build matters
*Speaking with clients in person, by phone and in writing
*Providing clear, practical and responsive legal advice
*Preparing and approving contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documents
*Keeping files organised and maintained to a high professional standard
*Managing your diary and handling enquiries and quotations efficiently
*Building relationships with clients and contacts to support new business opportunities
*Staying up to date with legal developments and maintaining competence in line with SRA requirements
What we’re looking for
*A qualified solicitor with experience in residential property
*Solid knowledge of conveyancing law and practice
*Familiarity with CQS
*Strong client care and communication skills
*A confident, professional and approachable manner
*The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
*A keen eye for detail and the ability to review and advise on legal documents effectively
