Paralegal Leeds
Hybrid
CRA Consulting are working with a well-established national law firm as they look to appoint a Property Finance Paralegal to join their highly regarded team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or legal professional with some residential conveyancing experience who is looking to take the next step into more complex, high-value property work and develop more experience.
This national firm supports a diverse client base across a variety of sectors. Their property practice is particularly well known for its work in the affordable housing and property finance space, regularly advising on high-value, complex transactions.
The Role
This role is ideal for someone who has already gained hands-on experience in residential conveyancing - perhaps through a paralegal role, legal assistant position, or placement year - and is now looking to broaden their technical expertise and work on larger-scale, more sophisticated transactions.
You’ll work closely with experienced Partners and Solicitors on major securitisation and property finance projects involving large property portfolios and complex funding structures. Alongside this, you’ll manage your own caseload of transactional matters under supervision, giving you excellent exposure and responsibility from an early stage.
The team offers a supportive and collaborative environment, making this a great opportunity for someone keen to continue learning, develop commercially, and build a long-term career within property law.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting due diligence on large-scale property finance and securitisation transactions
*Reviewing registered and unregistered titles

*Carrying out title checks and reporting on any issues identified
*Conducting searches and liaising with Local Authorities and third-party organisations
*Managing pre-completion searches and post-completion Land Registry requirements
*Chasing outstanding documentation and progressing matters proactively
*Assisting with the coordination and delivery of major property transactions
*Providing regular updates to clients and fee earners
*Supporting file management and transaction tracking
*Assisting other paralegals within the team where needed
*Meeting performance targets and ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards
Candidate ProfileEssential*A law graduate or legal professional with previous experience in a residential conveyancing or property-focused role
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*A proactive and client-focused approach
*Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a busy team
*Enthusiastic about developing a long-term career within property finance or commercial property law
Desirable*Experience handling high-volume residential conveyancing matters
*Familiarity with Land Registry processes and post-completion work
*Exposure to property finance or securitisation transactions
