Pay: £22.20 per hour PAYE / £28.95 Umbrella


Contract: 1 Month (Immediate Start)


Hours: 07:00–17:00 | Monday–Friday (4-day week, rolling day off)
Immediate Requirement
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join a busy vehicle workshop based at Smithies Lane Depot.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled automotive professional with supervisory experience to take on a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Supervise and carry out servicing, inspection, and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment
*Ensure maintenance schedules are completed on time and to required standards
*Lead and manage workshop staff, including apprentices
*Prepare and oversee vehicles for MOT/HGV testing
*Manage maintenance planning, quality control and workshop productivity
*Ensure compliance with health & safety and all relevant regulations
*Support operational reporting and general workshop performance
Requirements
*Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent)
*Proven experience in fleet, HGV or workshop environments
*Previous supervisory or senior technician experience
*Strong leadership and communication skills
*Good knowledge of compliance, inspections and workshop operations
*Ability to plan workloads and meet deadlines
*Cat C licence and/or management or safety qualifications desirable
