*Administering ad hoc Scholar opportunities, e.g. scheduling and facilitating mentoring meetings, circulating invitations and managing responses; and co-ordinating annual Scholar 1:1s with the Warden
*Role modelling the Trust’s organisational values of commitment, inclusion, belonging, growth and innovation.
*Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role, as requested.
*A deep commitment to the values, ethos and mission of the Rhodes Trust.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
*University degree and/or professional experience in Higher Education
*Service oriented and with the flexibility always to offer a friendly welcome to an unexpected Scholar or other visitor without getting overly distracted from the task in hand
*Team player with a positive approach to new challenges and the ability to build strong working relationships with immediate colleagues, with the Rhodes House team and with university colleagues
*Quick to learn, adaptable and flexible; ready to seek guidance as applicable
*Sensitivity and discretion in dealing with a wide range of people on many different issues
*Ability to work on a multiplicity of tasks independently and, at the same time, to organise and prioritise own work – or to ask for help in doing so - including coping with unpredictable volumes of work and busy periods
*Excellent attention to detail
*Excellent IT skills, including experience with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook), databases and Zoom
Desirable skills and experience:
*Experience of academic administration is desirable but not essential for the right candidate
*Experience using Salesforce
*Demonstrated interest in, or ability to quickly learn and develop proficiency in, CRM platforms and new systems
