The finance function here needs someone to step in and influence.
With the business continuing to grow, there’s a need for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day, tighten up reporting, and give the Finance Director the space to focus on the bigger picture.
It’s a broad role with plenty of scope - and the opportunity to make it your own.
You’ll step into a hands-on position with responsibility for the core finance processes, alongside the chance to improve how things are done.
Responsibilities:
*Own the monthly management accounts and reporting cycle
*Improve the accuracy, clarity and timeliness of reporting
*Manage cashflow, forecasting and budgeting
*Support operational teams with commercial insight
*Get close to WIP, revenue and project performance
*Strengthen processes, controls and general financial discipline
Over time, this could evolve into a broader Financial Controller-style role, depending on your experience.

You’ll be joining an independent Leeds-based marketing agency with a strong reputation and long-standing client relationships across well-known consumer brands.

*Proven experience producing management accounts and owning reporting
*Comfortable working in a hands-on SME environment
*Able to communicate with and influence non-finance stakeholders
*Someone who naturally looks to improve and streamline
What’s on offer:
*Circa £50,000 - £60,000 (flexible depending on experience)
*Temp-to-perm opportunity
*Full time but will consider part time (3-4 day working week) also
*Hybrid working (Leeds-based)
*25 days holiday plus birthday off
*Christmas shutdown
