Job Description:
Full job description Step into a role where your leadership truly shapes how things run. At Specsavers, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to join our Hi-Spec Lenses site in Kettering, where you’ll play a key part in delivering a smooth, efficient operation that supports our wider business. This is a role where you’ll take ownership of operational planning, cost control and performance, ensuring everything works seamlessly while exceeding targets and driving a first-class customer experience.
You’ll lead from the front, creating an environment where people feel supported, valued and motivated to do their best work. Through coaching, mentoring and building strong relationships, you’ll develop a multi-skilled, engaged team, while championing inclusion, wellbeing and a people first culture. At the same time, your commitment to safety excellence will help embed best practice, ensuring safe working standards are maintained alongside quality, efficiency and cost performance.
This is also a highly collaborative role, where your ability to influence stakeholders and communicate openly will be key. You’ll bring people together, building trust and encouraging constructive discussion to drive improvement. With a clear focus on continuous improvement, you’ll lead the development of strategies that enhance processes, improve service quality and support sustainable growth, while ensuring compliance with SOPs and delivering against budget and operational targets.
To succeed, you’ll bring proven experience in managing budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and delivering operational performance, alongside strong people leadership skills. You’ll be confident navigating change, able to inspire others through it, and committed to creating a flexible, inclusive working environment. If you’re someone who enjoys making an impact, developing teams and driving meaningful change, you’ll feel right at home here.
