Full job descriptionPSHE Teacher - SEMH Secondary & College Provision | Enfield | ASAP Start
Are you a passionate and resilient PSHE Teacher looking to make a genuine difference within a specialist SEMH setting? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated teacher to join a supportive Secondary and College provision in Enfield, working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, ADHD, and additional learning difficulties.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a highly supportive specialist environment where staff are committed to helping young people develop emotionally, socially, and academically.
The Role:*Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons tailored to students’ individual needs and EHCP targets
*Support pupils with SEMH needs, Autism, ADHD, and associated behavioural challenges
*Promote emotional wellbeing, resilience, positive relationships, and life skills
*Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, parents, and external professionals
*Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to support engagement and achievement
*Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
We are looking for someone who:*Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
*Has experience working within SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision settings
*Can confidently manage behaviour using trauma-informed and restorative approaches
*Is passionate about supporting vulnerable young people to achieve positive outcomes
*Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Holds or is willing to attain a enhanced DBS
