Location: Oxford (Hybrid Working)
Pay: Up to £14.24 per hour
Hours: Part-time, 22 hours per week
Contract: Agency contract with potential to convert to a Fixed Term Contract (up to 1 year)
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
Following government approval (Selective Licensing Scheme), all private rented homes in Oxford have required a licence since September 2022. With nearly half (49.3%) of homes in the city privately rented, this is a vital initiative to ensure landlords meet required safety and management standards.
We are now seeking a Selective Licensing Applications Officer to join our established and dynamic team responsible for delivering this important service to Oxford residents.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:
*Processing licence applications using detailed procedures and specialist systems
*Handling a high volume of customer enquiries via phone and email
*Providing excellent customer service to landlords, tenants, and stakeholders
*Accurately managing and inputting data
*Keeping up to date with changes in legislation and adapting processes accordingly
About You

*Experienced in delivering excellent customer service
