Salary: From £170 per day (Dependant on experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Design & Technology Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and practical knowledge across a range of design disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach a range of DT specialisms such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering or Graphics
- Encourage creativity, innovation and practical skill development
- Prepare students for exams and coursework assessments
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs or design projects
- Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment
The Ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Have strong subject knowledge across Design & Technology
- Be creative, practical and passionate about STEM education
- Have excellent classroom management skills
- Be committed to raising achievement and supporting all learners
- Be willing to contribute to wider school life
