Full job descriptionFinance Assistant Location: Croydon
A well-established, family-run maintenance contractor specialising in social housing repairs is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with finance or accounts experience who is looking for a stable role within a company that genuinely values its employees.
The RoleYou will support the finance function with day-to-day accounting tasks, helping to ensure accurate financial records and smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities*Processing invoices (purchase and sales ledger)
*Assisting with supplier payments and reconciliations
*Handling queries from suppliers and internal teams
*Supporting month-end processes
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*General finance and administrative support
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
*Good attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
*Ability to work well as part of a small team
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn
