About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant currently studying towards their AAT qualification to join a manufacturing company based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience while continuing their studies.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks
*Processing purchase and sales invoices
*Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
*Supporting month-end reporting and journal entries
*Assisting with VAT returns and financial compliance
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Providing general support to the wider finance team
About You
*Currently studying or working towards AAT (Level 2, 3 or 4)
*Strong numerical and analytical skills
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems (desirable)
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
