We are seeking a Payroll Administrator for a temporary position based in Bury St Edmunds, starting on the 9th of June. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in data entry who are proficient in managing payroll systems and maintaining accurate financial records.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Processing payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
*Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
*Preparing reports for management on payroll matters and employee deductions.
*Resolving issues and answering payroll-related questions.
*Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and payroll tax obligations.
*Maintaining accurate records and preparing documentation as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
*Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
*Proficiency in payroll software and good knowledge of payroll regulations.
*Ability to handle confidential information.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
