Robert Walters - Head of Finance - Permanent - Hybrid - South Birmingham - £75,000 - £85,000 per annum
Our client, a fast-paced and high-growth business, is looking for a commercially astute Head of Finance to take ownership of the finance function, drive performance, and partner the business in delivering its strategic objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance leader to operate in a dynamic environment, influence decision-making, and build a high-performing team within a supportive and progressive organisation.




Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance:*Lead and oversee the full finance function, ensuring robust financial controls and accurate reporting.
*Partner with senior leadership to drive commercial decision-making and business performance.
*Deliver timely and insightful management accounts, forecasts, and budgets.
*Provide clear financial analysis and commentary to support strategic initiatives and growth plans.
*Own cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and financial planning.
*Lead, develop, and mentor a finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
*Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and controls.
*Support business transformation projects and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
*Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and advisors.
Key essentials of the Head of Finance:*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (essential)
*Proven experience in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
*Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
