Salary: £33,000 – £36,000
A well-established UK-based logistics organisation is looking for a Logistics & Freight Operations Executive to join its daytime control centre team in Luton. The business operates around the clock, delivering domestic and international freight solutions across air, road, and sea networks, with a strong focus on time-sensitive and aviation-related logistics.
This is a hands-on operational role within a busy, structured environment where accuracy, communication, and coordination are essential to keeping global freight moving smoothly.
Role Responsibilities*Coordinate import and export shipments across all transport modes
*Ensure customs compliance and accurate completion of documentation and entries
*Support aviation-focused operational procedures and protocols
*Communicate with customers and stakeholders regarding shipment updates
*Manage workload effectively and prioritise time-critical consignments
*Monitor and respond to shared operational inboxes in a timely manner
Candidate Profile*1–2 years’ experience within freight forwarding or logistics operations
*Strong understanding of import/export processes and documentation requirements
*Confident communicator across internal teams and external clients
*Ability to stay organised and focused in a fast-moving environment
*Flexible and adaptable approach to changing operational demands
*Full UK driving licence (minor penalty points may be considered)
*Continuous 5-year employment history with minimal gaps
*Eligible to work in the UK with no relevant disqualifications
