Salary: £35,000 – £38,000
A well-established UK logistics and freight organisation is seeking a Freight & Logistics Operations Executive to join its night operations team. The business provides around-the-clock domestic and international transport solutions across air, road, and sea freight.
This role is based within a fast-moving control centre environment, supporting time-critical shipments and ensuring smooth coordination of import and export operations across multiple regions.
Key Duties*Coordinate import and export shipments across all transport methods
*Ensure customs compliance and accurate completion of shipping documentation
*Support time-sensitive and aviation-related freight processes
*Communicate with customers and partners to provide shipment updates
*Manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively during shift
*Monitor shared inboxes and respond professionally and promptly
Candidate Requirements*1–2 years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
*Knowledge of import/export processes and documentation
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a night shift environment
*Flexible, adaptable approach to changing workloads
*Full UK driving licence (minor points considered)
*5-year checkable work history with minimal gaps
*Eligible to work in the UK
