*£20-£22 Per hour (3 month FTC pro rata equivalent £43k per annum)

*Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Facilities Coordinator to support our Facilities Management (FM) team in the operational management and coordination of our commercial workspace facilities. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, compliant, and customer-focused environment for all tenants, visitors, contractors, and staff.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Support the FM team in managing and coordinating both hard and soft FM services.
*Act as the first point of contact for daily facilities issues, operational queries, and reactive matters.
*Ensure that planned and reactive maintenance activities are coordinated and completed effectively.
*Deliver high standards of customer service and workplace experience across the buildings.
*Monitor contractor performance, service standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
*Maintain operational effectiveness by working collaboratively with internal teams, tenants, contractors, and suppliers.
*Provide a visible on-site operational presence and support across the building throughout the working day.
*Coordinate and supervise contractor support for statutory compliance processes including fire safety checks, water hygiene monitoring, and emergency lighting checks.
*Carry out regular building inspections, workplace checks, and housekeeping audits.
*Maintain accurate records relating to maintenance activities, inspections, incidents, and compliance tasks.
*Respond professionally to tenant and customer queries, concerns, and operational requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in facilities management, particularly within commercial or corporate environments.
*Strong understanding of both hard and soft FM services.
*Excellent organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
*Ability to identify operational risks and escalate issues appropriately.
*Proficient in using facilities management software and systems.
*Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
*Commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
*Ability to work flexibly to support operational priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
