Full job descriptionJuice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a prestigious hospitality client in the search for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead a talented kitchen team within a luxury hospitality environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and leads by example. You will play a key role in maintaining exceptional food standards, driving team performance, and delivering outstanding dining experiences.
As Head Chef, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high-quality food delivery at all times. Working closely with your team, you’ll be actively involved in service while also managing kitchen operations, stock control, training, and compliance.


DAY TO DAY:

*Leading kitchen service from the front, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to exceptional standards
*Supporting seasonal menu development using fresh, high-quality ingredients
*Training, mentoring, and motivating chefs and kitchen staff
*Managing stock levels, food costs, and minimising waste
*Maintaining all food hygiene, HACCP, COSHH, and health & safety standards
*Delivering excellent guest experiences and responding professionally to feedback


WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

*Previous experience in a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef position
*Strong leadership and people management skills
*A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food
*Excellent organisational and communication abilities
*A hands-on and proactive approach
*Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance procedures

*Salary: £48,667.50 per annum
*Working 5 days out of 7, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
