An established and growing professional services firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join its expanding tax team.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, oversee compliance and advisory work, and play a key role in developing both client relationships and junior team members. The position would suit someone looking for a balance of technical work, client interaction, and leadership responsibility within a collaborative environment.
The OpportunityAs a Corporate Tax Manager, you will:
*Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients with varying levels of complexity
*Review complex corporation tax returns and tax computations
*Lead the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory projects
*Support tax planning assignments and wider business advisory work
*Build and maintain strong client relationships
*Work closely with senior leadership on business development opportunities
*Delegate and review work completed by junior team members
*Assist with workflow planning and team development
*Stay up to date with UK corporate tax legislation and market developments
The role offers strong exposure to advisory work alongside compliance, with opportunities to contribute to client strategy, technical projects, and wider commercial initiatives.
What They’re Looking ForThe successful candidate will ideally have:
*ACA / ACCA / CTA / ATT qualified status (or qualified by experience)
*Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
*Strong corporate tax compliance knowledge
*Exposure to tax advisory work
*Experience managing client relationships and deadlines
*Strong communication and leadership skills
*A proactive and commercially minded approach
