Job Title: Bus Driver Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: West Yorkshire - Site based (Must be flexible with travel across sites)
Salary: £30,000
Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Mobile, Laptop + much more
Type: Full Time, Permanent
KM are delighted to be supporting a Transport Training Academy, designed to help individuals start or progress their careers within the bus and passenger transport sector.
Our client is offering this role as a Trainee or Qualified opportunity – full training will be provided for the successful candidate to achieve the Trainer/Assessor award.
Essential Criteria:
*Ideally have experience of training/mentoring
*Must hold valid PCV and CPC licences.
*Hold a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Bus Driver.
*Comfortable and confident to deliver classroom / workshop-based group sessions
*Must be I.T. literate.
*Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
Duties:
*Deliver a fully funded training programme for aspiring bus drivers, alongside ongoing development and mandatory CPC training for existing drivers.
*Training delivery will be in-person classroom/workshop based.
*Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
*Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
*Work to learner review and completion timescales.
