Job Description:
Full job descriptionWorking within a packhouse environment you will be responsible for various duties which include:
*Checking the quality of the fruit (no bruises, cuts, bad parts)
*Packing products into punnets and boxes
*Weighing products.
*Packing into boxes.
*Labelling.
*Some lifting may be required.
You will be working alongside permanent and other seasonal staff within the packhouse, work wear will be provided. Health and Safety is important along with hygiene, so you cannot wear jewellery or nail varnish etc...
The location is quite remote and there is no public transport.
You will either need your own transport or speak to us upon applying and we may be able to assist with organising transport too and from work.
Working hours
8am start - Finish (between 5pm - 7pm)
Monday - Saturday (would need to be able to do at least 4-5 days a week)
Packing Apples, Pears and other fruit.
Temporary on-going work.
