An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor (NQ+) to join a highly respected legal team in Gloucestershire. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on delivering high-quality advice to high net worth individuals, owner-managed businesses and agricultural clients across a broad spectrum of private client matters. What you’ll do:
*Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts, lasting powers of attorney (LPA), estate administration, and tax planning for high net worth individuals and families.
*Deliver profitable fee-earning support by managing your own caseload efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of client care and technical accuracy.
*Collaborate closely with experienced partners and colleagues across the national private client team to share insights and best practices.
*Contribute actively to business development initiatives such as networking events, marketing campaigns, and cross-selling opportunities within the wider firm.
*Support the growth of strong client relationships by delivering an excellent experience at every stage of the engagement process.
*Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development activities while sharing your expertise with colleagues.
*Mentor junior team members by providing guidance on complex cases and supporting their professional growth within the department.
*Assist clients with international assets or charitable trusts by drawing on specialist knowledge within the team as required.
*Participate in internal projects aimed at enhancing service delivery or improving operational efficiency within the private client practice.
*Uphold compliance standards in line with regulatory requirements and contribute positively to the firm’s reputation for quality client care.
What you bring:
*NQ+ with at least one seat gained in Private Client matters.
*A collaborative approach with proven ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds including high net worth individuals and business owners.
*Excellent written communication skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail when preparing legal documents or correspondence.
*Strong organisational skills enabling effective management of multiple priorities within agreed deadlines.
*A genuine interest in developing long-term relationships with clients through responsive service delivery and empathetic understanding of their needs.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development through participation in training sessions or industry seminars relevant to private client law.
