Full job descriptionFinancial Accountant Warwickshire | Full Time | Office Based
An established and growing automotive business is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to take ownership of the finance function within a standalone environment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on role responsible for month-end processes, financial reporting, and maintaining strong financial controls across the business.
Key Responsibilities*Ownership of month-end and management accounts
*Preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
*General ledger reconciliations and journal postings
*Oversight of AP and AR processes
*VAT returns and HMRC compliance
*Liaising with outsourced payroll and external accountants
*Supporting year-end audit and statutory accounts
Skills & Experience*Previous experience within an SME or standalone finance role
*Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge
*Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision advantageous
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
*AAT qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification desirable
