Key Responsibilities:
You’ll support the smooth running of the housekeeping department while maintaining exceptional guest standards across the hotel.
*Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are clean, presentable, and welcoming
*Support and supervise the housekeeping team on a daily basis
*Report and follow up on maintenance issues within guest and public areas
*Assist with implementing preventative maintenance procedures
*Deliver excellent guest service and respond proactively to guest needs
*Ensure company cleanliness, brand, and service standards are maintained
*Support team training, presentation, and performance standards
*Maintain health & safety, COSHH, fire safety, and security procedures at all times
What we’re looking for:
To be successful in this Deputy Head Housekeeper position, you’ll ideally have:
*Previous supervisory experience within housekeeping in a 4-star or 5-star hotel
*A strong background in housekeeping operations
*Previous Marriott experience would be advantageous
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
*Experience motivating and leading a team
*A positive and proactive attitude
