Job Description:
Full job descriptionA confidential employer is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to support the delivery of an accurate monthly payroll and contribute to wider people-focused operations. This role requires a detail-driven individual with strong technical capability, sound judgement, and the confidence to act as a trusted point of contact for pay-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the preparation and processing of monthly payroll data within required deadlines.
*Assist with calculations relating to additional hours, statutory leave and other pay variations.
*Produce essential payroll outputs for authorised internal and external recipients.
*Handle pay-related queries through appropriate communication channels.
*Maintain accurate records and ensure alignment with statutory and regulatory obligations.
*Contribute to reporting, process consistency and continuous improvement activity.
*Provide informed guidance and support during periods requiring additional expertise.
Experience Required
*Proven payroll administration experience within a busy, deadline-driven environment.
*Strong attention to detail and confidence managing recurring payroll cycles.
*Employee lifecycle processing including changes, benefits and pension-related updates.
*Clear communication skills for handling sensitive pay queries.
*Data and systems capability with proficiency in spreadsheets and payroll/HR tools.
*Experience with payroll platforms (any recognised system experience considered).
