Full job description20 x Industrial Electrician – Battery Storage Farm
We are currently looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team working on a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within the fast-growing renewable energy sector on a high-profile battery storage farm installation.
Job Responsibilities
*Installation of industrial cabling systems
*Glanding and terminating power and control cables
*Connecting battery units and associated equipment
*Installation of containment systems including tray, trunking, and conduit
*Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
*Testing and inspection of electrical installations
*Working safely in line with site and industry regulations
*Supporting commissioning activities where required
Requirements
*Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / 18th Edition or equivalent)
*ECS / JIB Gold Card preferred
*Previous industrial or renewable energy experience advantageous
*Experience with battery storage, substations, solar farms, or heavy industrial projects preferred
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
Details
*Rate £20 - £26 per hour dependant on remuneration method
*12 hour days
*Minimum 1 month contract
*Immediate starts available
*Accommodation allowance/travel allowance is available depending on location
