We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst for a 12 month contract based in Derby. Hybrid with 3 days per week on-site.
Purpose of the role
We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join Rolls-Royce’s Risk & Revenue Sharing Partners (RRSP) finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting financial reporting, forecasting, cash reporting, and balance sheet activities across strategic partnership arrangements within the Civil Aerospace business. Working closely with Finance Controllers, Finance Business Partners, and wider finance stakeholders, you will help ensure financial processes are accurately managed, controlled, and aligned to business objectives within a complex, fast-paced environment.
As a Senior Finance Analyst, the key responsibilities of the role will include:
*Support month-end actuals, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the RRSP function.
*Prepare and deliver accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and cash reporting.
*Support balance sheet ownership, reconciliations, and financial controls activities.
*Work closely with Finance Controllers and Finance Business Partners to provide financial insight and analysis.
*Ensure financial transactions and reporting processes are aligned to internal controls and governance requirements.
*Support year-end audit activities and provide appropriate financial documentation and analysis.
*Build strong relationships with internal finance teams and external business stakeholders.
*Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support enhancements to reporting and finance processes.
*Analyse financial performance and help identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
*Work within SAP and advanced Excel to manage and interpret complex financial data.
What we require from the candidate:
*Fully qualified accountant such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
*Previous experience within a large engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial environment.
*Strong traditional accounting experience including forecasting, balance sheet management, cash reporting, and financial analysis.
*Experience supporting month-end and year-end finance processes.
*Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling, reporting, and data analysis.
*SAP experience within a large corporate environment.
*Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and audit processes.
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
*Experience working cross-functionally with finance and operational stakeholders.
