Reporting into the Finance Director of this acquisitive and forward-thinking business, your duties will include the following:


*Providing leadership on financial control matters within the UK and, eventually, across the wider group
*Leading and managing a small finance team to include development and performance reviews
*Preparing management accounts, external investor material and financial information for a wide range of stakeholders
*Acting as a Finance Business Partner during new acquisition exercises
*Working with the Finance Director or other members of senior management on an ad hoc basis with regards to particular projects
*Overheads accounting – covering reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting; playing a key role in managing the annual budget process
*Liaising with staff across all office locations to ensure operational control and best practice
*Working with the finance team to ensure an efficient external audit as well as the preparation of statutory accounts
*Providing sound financial support to maximise commercial performance
*Cash flow forecasting, managing submission of VAT returns

The person:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
*Some Group experience (consolidations)
*Highly motivated and dynamic in character
*Tenacious personality with the ability to influence other stakeholders
*Good Excel skills and previous systems upgrade/implementation exposure
*Strong technical accounting skills
