Full job descriptionThe RoleYou’ll lead and coordinate the turnaround of empty properties, ensuring repair works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard so homes can be re-let efficiently.

This is a hands-on operational leadership role working closely with contractors, housing teams, and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities*Manage voids and empty homes repair programmes
*Oversee contractors delivering maintenance and reinstatement works
*Monitor KPIs, quality standards, budgets, and service performance
*Ensure properties are ready for reletting within target timescales
*Support and deputise for the Housing Maintenance Manager when required
*Work collaboratively with Housing, Tenancy, and Accommodation teams
*Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Building Regulations
*Produce reports and performance updates for senior management
About YouWe’re looking for candidates with experience in:

*Social housing, property maintenance, or housing management
*Voids/empty homes or responsive repairs
*Contractor management and performance monitoring
*Budget management and KPI reporting
*Building maintenance or housing legislation/compliance
Essential Requirements*Minimum 3years’ experience in:*Building maintenance/construction OR
*Housing management/social housing

*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively
*Knowledge of Health & Safety and Building Regulations
Desirable*Experience working for a social housing provider or local authority
*HNC/HND in Construction, Building, or Housing
*CIOB or CIH accreditation (or working towards)
*Experience using housing or repairs management systems
