Location: Andover
Salary: £36,700 - £53,000 per annum
Schedule: Full Time | Permanent
Are you a passionate leader in children’s residential care looking to make a real difference? We’re seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a nurturing children’s home supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
About the Company
The company provides specialist residential support for young people aged 9-18 with needs including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma-related behaviours.
Their homes offer a safe, therapeutic, and homely environment where young people can thrive emotionally and socially.
Your Role
*Lead the day-to-day running of the children’s home
*Ensure OFSTED compliance and high standards of care
*Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead
*Support and develop a dedicated care team
*Work closely with therapists, families, and external professionals
*Oversee staffing, care planning, and budgets
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
*At least 1 year in a supervisory/management role
*Strong safeguarding knowledge
*Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable:
*Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
*Previous Designated Safeguarding Lead experience
*Experience attending reviews and writing reports
