Our leading global law firm client are actively looking to take on a new Business Test Analyst (UAT, User Acceptance Testing, Jira, Defect Tracking) on a contractual basis, this role will operate for a minimum of 6 months with a potential view to extend and will be responsible for the review of business requirements and translation into test scenarios and scripts.
To be considered for this Business Test Analyst (UAT, User Acceptance Testing, Jira, Defect Tracking) role, it’s ideal that you have:
*3 + years within a similar role
*Ideal but not required law firm or professional service experience
*Experience with UAT Testing & Defect tracking tools such as JIRA
*Any certifications within Software Testing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Review business requirements and translate into test scenarios and scripts
*Execute UAT test cases and record results accurately
*Work with business users supporting UAT, educating them in UAT processes
*Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution
*Work with business stakeholders to validate test outcomes.
*Support defect triage sessions and provide input on prioritisation
*Maintain test evidence and documentation for audit purposes
*Assist in preparing UAT summary reports and sign-off documentation
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
*Experience in User Acceptance Testing within business transformation or system implementation projects.
*Ability to create and execute test cases based on business requirements.
*Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
*Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
*Good communication skills to liaise with business users and technical teams.
*Knowledge of financial services or legal sector is a plus.
