I am delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Leeds to recruit an Finance Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, client-focused environment, supporting financial operations across key contracts.
We are particularly keen to speak with candidates who are immediately available or becoming available at short notice.
Key Responsiblities:*Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including raising customer invoices, credit notes, and vendor purchase orders in line with approval processes
*Coordinating intercompany agreements and transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
*Supporting client contracts through financial transaction processing and cost allocations within client systems, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
*Providing financial and contract reporting inputs, helping to deliver accurate and timely information to clients
*Setting up and maintaining new clients, vendors, projects, and prospects within financial systems
*Performing cost allocations and adjustments in line with guidance from Finance Business Partners and the controllership team
*Supporting month-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met within the accounting cycle
*Ensuring compliance with internal policies and SOX controls, maintaining a strong governance framework
*Working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and drive operational efficiency
About you:*Basic understanding of accounting principles
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work to tight deadlines within a monthly reporting cycle
*Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
*A solid work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
