An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Contract Monitoring Team within the Social Services & Wellbeing Commissioning Team. The post is a full-time, permanent role that will complement the existing and well-established Contract Monitoring roles within the commissioning team.
Contract Monitoring plays a vital role in ensuring that services being provided to individuals are delivered in a safe, effective and efficient way, and in compliance with contracts that are in place between the council and providers we use to deliver services on our behalf.
For this role, you will need to go out and talk to individuals in receipt of services and those involved in the delivery of care, which is an essential part of contract monitoring, so you will need to have excellent communication skills, be highly enthusiastic, and understand the legislation and regulations in place across Social Services and Wellbeing.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
The council’s Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post. This provides a framework for establishing how you will undertake working hours between your home and the office.
